Costochondritis

So I finally found out why my ribs have been killing me. And for those of you who don't know what it is (I didn't) here's a little explanation:

Costochondritis is an inflammation of the cartilage that connects a rib to the breastbone (sternum). It causes sharp pain in the costosternal joint — where your ribs and breastbone are joined by rubbery cartilage. Pain caused by costochondritis may mimic that of a heart attack or other heart conditions.
Your doctor might refer to costochondritis by other names, including chest wall pain, costosternal syndrome and costosternal chondrodynia. When the pain of costochondritis is accompanied by swelling, it's referred to as Tietze syndrome.
Most cases of costochondritis have no apparent cause. In these cases, treatment focuses on easing your pain while you wait for costochondritis to resolve on its own.

Catering!

Here are pictures from my first catering job that I did tonight. Everything looked spectacular. I was super impressed with how everything turned out. From the top: Carrot Cookies, Chocolate cups filled with Mousse, a close up of the Mousse, the set-up, Chicken Salad Croissants, Pasta Salad, Fruit Display, Veggie Tray, and Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon and Sugar Chips.

Baby Shower

Today, I threw a baby shower, with the wonderful Whitney, for one of our good friends Heather from work. Whitney and I planned the whole thing and I made the treats. Here are some pics of the cupcakes, strawberries, and overall fun of the shower! Congrats Heather!

Everyone should go see this movie! It's hilarious! Steve Carell is great. Action and comedy all wrapped up into one fantastic movie. The best I've seen this year. Go! Watch it! Now!
